About the opportunity
As an IT Technical Support Specialist, you will be an integral part of our Information Technology Team, providing vital support to a dynamic organisation of over 500 users making a tangible impact. Your work will directly enhance the day-to-day technology experience across the business. In this role, you'll take ownership of Level 2–3 application and network support, resolving more complex issues across a broad range of technologies.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Providing technical support to users both onsite and remotely
Troubleshooting and supporting a range of business applications, device, and connectivity issues
Administration of Microsoft 365, Teams, and Intune
Active Directory management and maintenance
Setting up and maintaining hardware such as laptops, tablets, and mobile devices
Manage and prioritise assigned incidents, requests, and service tasks to resolution
Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and the overall user experience
Mentoring and support for colleagues delivering Level 1 support
This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position, with participation in a rotating after-hours on-call roster supporting our 24/7 operational Environment. This role is based at our Whirinaki site.

About you
You have proven IT experience and a strong customer focus, with a passion for solving problems and delivering excellent service.
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
Proven IT experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
A qualification in Information Technology or a related discipline.
A strong customer-focused approach and commitment to delivering excellent support.
A proactive, adaptable mindset.
Strong troubleshooting skills with a logical and methodical approach to problem-solving.
Proven ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver results.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience administering and maintaining Microsoft applications and environments.
