Operations Support Administrator
We are seeking an experienced and proactive senior administrator to help drive seamless operations and support the leadership team at our Whirinaki site.
About the opportunity
Pan Pac’s Pulp Division supplies products to customers across New Zealand and 11 international markets. We are seeking an Operations Support Administrator to provide high‑level administrative support to the General Manager, senior leadership team, and the wider business unit.
Based on site at our Whirinaki operational offices, you will play a key role in supporting operations through strong systems, data, and process management. As a trusted administrative partner, you will manage and enhance core business systems and databases, ensure data integrity, and continuously improve administrative processes to support informed decision‑making. Through active on‑site engagement, you will develop a practical understanding of the pulp manufacturing environment while managing a diverse, fast‑paced workload that includes regular, scheduled, and ad‑hoc tasks supporting safe and efficient operations.
This is a full‑time role, Monday to Friday, based at our Whirinaki site, located approximately 15 minutes north of Napier.

About you
You will bring proven experience delivering high‑level administrative support within a fast‑paced operational or leadership environment.
You will also demonstrate:
Three or more years’ experience in senior administration, coordination, or operational support
Strong proficiency in Office 365, SharePoint, and core business systems, with the capability to support and guide others
Excellent planning, organisation, and prioritisation skills to manage competing deadlines
A logical, detail‑focused approach with confidence working across data, documents, and reporting
The ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and urgent requests
Clear, professional written and verbal communication
A proactive, service‑focused mindset and commitment to supporting leaders and teams
Strong time‑management skills and the initiative to take ownership of tasks
Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or operational environment (preferred)
