As a Lumber Export Account Manager, you will be accountable for the performance and development of the USA market, which represents a substantial proportion of our export volume and plays a central role in shaping production planning, supply chain priorities, and overall commercial direction. In addition to the USA, the role also supports key growth and diversification markets in Mexico and Europe.

You will own and manage key customer relationships in the USA, working closely with sales, supply chain, and operations teams to translate market demand into executable mill plans. A key function of the role is the integration of market intelligence and customer needs with operational requirements, providing end to end alignment across the export value chain and enabling market led decision making that materially impacts business performance.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver an exceptional standard of service and resolve customer enquiries

• Contribute market insights to inform commercial, operational, and strategic decisions

About you
Your commercial perspective and sales exposure enables you to build strong customer partnerships and support export growth. You will bring:

• 4+ years’ experience in business-to-business sales, ideally within manufacturing or primary industries

• Experience building and maintaining customer relationships across global markets

• A commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and support sales performance

• Practical operational understanding, including production capability and constraints

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Confidence working across cultures and time zones, with willingness to travel internationally

• Experience in wood products or related industries beneficial, but not essential
