About the role

As Senior Business Analyst – Business Intelligence, you’ll own the delivery of trusted, actionable insights that enable smarter, faster decisions across Pan Pac. Reporting to the Enterprise Manager, you’ll operate at the intersection of business, data, and delivery—designing dashboards, building semantic models, and curating KPIs while driving BI product development, governance, and adoption.

This is a role with broad influence and responsibility. You’ll partner with leaders in finance, operations, supply chain, and commercial to shape the BI roadmap, prioritise high-value initiatives, and deliver solutions that set the standard for consistency, security, and performance—ensuring data becomes a strategic asset across the organisation.

In this role, you’ll own critical aspects of Pan Pac’s Business Intelligence capability. Some of the key tasks you will take responsibility for include:

• Shape and maintain a BI roadmap aligned to business priorities
• Translate requirements into intuitive dashboards and semantic models
• Define KPIs, metrics, and calculation rules
• Build and maintain high-quality dashboards and reports
• Apply and optimise design standards and templates for usability and performance
• Implement data refresh strategies for timely insights
• Establish data governance standards for consistency and quality
• Engage stakeholders through workshops, documentation, and training
• Champion change and enablement, equipping users to self-serve responsibly

This is a fixed term position for 18 months, we would also welcome a conversation with any independent contractors who may be interested in this position.

About you

You’re an experienced Business Analyst with a passion for turning data into insights, skilled at bridging business needs and BI solutions to deliver real impact.
You have:

• A tertiary qualification in Information Systems, Data/Analytics, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years’ experience in BI-focused business analysis, delivering dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions
• Strong skills in semantic modelling, SQL, KPI definition, and data visualisation design
• Proven ability to engage stakeholders, simplify complex information, and drive BI adoption
• Experience with finance reporting (planning, budgeting, forecasting) and exposure to SAP S/4HANA and SAC
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills, with a practical, solution-oriented mindset
